27 Jan 2024: In a move to make the election process more accessible, the Election Commission has announced to activate SMS services 8300 from 29th Jan 2024. As per the Election Commission of Pakistan Press Release. this service allows voters to easily check their voter registration status and obtain essential information by sending a simple SMS.
SMS 8300 Service
To use the service, voters need to send their ID card number to the designated number, 8300. By doing so, individuals can receive details about whether their vote is successfully registered. Additionally, the service provides information about the polling station name and number, as well as the constituency number.
As per the press release of ECP on 27th jan 2024, The Election Commission is making this service affordable for everyone, with a minimal charge of only 2 rupees per SMS.
