Sindh School Update: In response to the upcoming general elections on February 8th, the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Mr. Baqir, has approved a brief hiatus for educational institutions in the province. A formal announcement was made on February 1st, confirming that all private and government schools, colleges, and universities in Sindh will remain closed from February 6th to 9th, 2024.
Notably, February 4th is a Sunday and February 5th is already observed as a public holiday for Kashmir. By attaching these days to the general elections on February 8th, the government aims to facilitate the staff in the democratic process.
Ealier Punjab government announced holidays from 6th Feb to 9th Feb 2024 for General Election 2024. All privaite and public sector schools, colleges and universities in Punjab will remain close from 6th to 9th Feb 2024.
